Bronwyn has returned from college and asks where Maeve wants to be in five years. Maeve responds that analyzing the future is bad luck, pointing to the broken clock on the wall. Bronwyn tells Maeve that she and Nate are officially broken up. Suddenly, Bronwyn cuts their lunch at Café Contigo short, saying that Evan Neiman is here to pick her up for a mathlete reunion. Maeve tries to talk some sense into her sister, saying that seeing her other ex-boyfriend probably isn’t the best idea.

Maeve takes out her computer and checks the new About That website, where people are speculating about who Unknown could be. She searches Simon’s old username “AnarchiSK” and finds the Reddit subforum Vengeance Is Mine. In the middle of her investigation, Luis enters the café and sits at Maeve’s table. He bluntly asks Maeve if she lives in the restaurant. The two exchange a flirtatious conversation.

Luis says that Cooper may be coming to Café Contigo the next night at the same time as Bronwyn and Addy, who will be attending Ashton’s bachelorette party. Luis asks Maeve if she and her boyfriend are going, meaning Knox. Maeve tells him that Knox is not her boyfriend.
